More Cuteness Overload (#2): Donut Wisdom

Feeling tired, stressed, or a bit bored? :iconbigsissucatplz:

Need some cheering up?

DONUT worry, we’ve got you covered – in sprinkles!

Hello and welcome! It is I, Faith, and I have returned with another dose of cuteness! This time, I am featuring these little Donut Wisdom drawings… They’re encouraging, adorable, and punny and I am pretty sure that you’ll love them as much as I do!

They’re illustrated by Mimi Chao and if you’re finding yourself falling in love with them within seconds, as I did, I’d definitely suggest that you visit her Instagram and Donut Wisdom site for more! While you’re at it, you might as well check out her shop and her WordPress blog for her other über cute prints and to support an indie creator/illustrator! (Whoo, links galore! But I’m sure you’ll be very tempted to click all of them by the end.)

If you’re not familiar with my Cuteness Overload posts, you could drop by my first one right here if you’re feeling up for it! No pressure though, I’m sure the Earth’s atmosphere already offers you enough.

Anyways, let’s cut to the chase. If you are feeling a bit blue, allow these cute little donuts to share some wisdom and smiles. 🙂

Donut! It’s not worth your time. Or the frown lines.

Oh look, we’ve stumbled across… ah, what is that? AHA! A wild Sarah in Egypt denying the heat!

Donut worry and donut stress. Every time you feel that creeping sense of panic, just take a step back, breathe, and remind yourself that at least, you’re not any where close to entering the Hunger Games… I hope.

Um… whoops, is it too late?

Come on, donut be that person…

You’ll never hear truer words. (Because I’m doing it right now. Take it from a pro.)

Donut become Russell the boy scout or get carried away procrastinating!

I actually really admire people who are genuine!

Donut be jelly… because he is a jelly donut.

Be peanut butter instead!

I actually donut know. Why does the fox even have to say something? What if he’s content with life just living as a recluse but then the media suddenly started to bombard its peaceful lifestyle??

Please, DONUT. I don’t need any more of this!!

Donut. Just donut. www.fb.com/himimochai

#truth. (Although, is it “donut” or “doughnut”??)

Aww… Timbits (the donut centres) are so Can’eh’dian though. I like to think of them as the inverse of donuts.

Alright, now tell me that wasn’t the cutest number of donuts you’ve ever seen in your entire life. You probably can’t. I would dare you.

If you’re telling me that it wasn’t, you’re 100.76% bluffing. See, you’re doing that thing with your eyes again… I can tell, stop trying to be that nonchalant cool person. Face it, it’s too late now, you’ve been to several book shrines (book blogs) already. (I’m literally everything that doesn’t describe nonchalance.) Spit it out, admit it. Now that’s the spirit!

I hope that these were a nicely punny addition to your weekend, or any time of your day, really. Once again, be sure you check out some of Mimi’s other drawings … you probably won’t regret it! #theobsessionisreal. Tell me how you felt about this post. Any warm and fuzzies or favourites? Also, let me know if you spell it “donut” or “doughnut”. It’s semi-conflicting and according to the WordPress spellcheck, it’s officially “doughnut”. That’s it for this Cuteness Overload post, I’ll catch ya around sometime soon! 🙂

~Faith~

Have an awesome day: Donut be salty, be sweet!

I KNOW! HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THEY’RE THIS CUTE?? IT’S TOO CUTE TO HANDLE!

The SPOILERS ONE. I literally can’t read a popular book without having at least one person trying to spoil the book for me by saying, “By the way, he dies” even if they’ve never even read the book. THE WORLD IS EVIL!!

Thanks for your amazingggly lovely comments! They always make my day 😀 Also, I think it’s a problem because I just CAN’T get over the cuteness. Nothing I ever see will be as cute.

The world IS evil. It’s worse when I’m on the first book and somebody spoils the last. At that point I JUST GIVE UP. HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO ME?! I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS.

Awww you’re welcome! I love chatting up with you in the comments 😉 you guys are ALWAYS lovely to talk with! And your posts are always on point 🙂 Glad to lighten your day!

I see that you have noticed our problem. It seems that we both have, what I call: cute hangover. We are simply unable to get over the cute. Unfortunately – there is no cure. You can only hope you find something cuter XD

Ending spoilage could be a friendship termination method. It’s the book nerd version of unfriending some!! 😛

Yes, that’s it! A cute hangover!! That makes it sound like we need a book called “How to Look Cute While Being Hungover”. XD But it’s more like “How to Find Something Cuter When It’s Just Not Possible”.

Bingo XD Need to unfriend? Drop book spoiler – if you really want to make enemies then spoil the whole series MAUAHAHAHAH

We should make the whole ‘cute hangover’ thing official – it’s happened to me way to many times and I’m still swimming in the aftermath XD

Hiraeththepages and sublimereads, uncovering diagnostics one step at a time 🙂

Let’s just patent the phrase ‘cute hangover’… somebody out there needs to make up a word for it!!
Definition: The in-between feeling of “the feels” and “aww look at that adorable puppy” and not being able to get over it.

YES we need to make it a thing. All those helpless people not being able to explain their feelings.

Just wait, in a little time the world will be bowing to our feet, we have explained the unexplainable! And look – we’ve done all the hard work, the naming and the definition done and dusted. We just need to find somebody to place it in the dictionary.
