Hear ye! (Well, read ye.) Today we have an announcement & we’re going to make it short and sweet!

Basically to rephrase what Paul at The Galaxial Word (his blog is awesome, go check it out!) said right here, we (the two of us + Paul) were thinking about possibly creating some sort of blogger collab/blog tour thing!

So here’s the dealio: if you’re interested in joining our random collab fest, feel free to drop us (or Paul) a comment and – if you have one – a topic idea! ^-^

~ Thanks for coming by ~

We hope you like them & we would love to know if you have any favourites!

(Also, tell us if you can’t see these images. We’ll try to see if we can email them to you!)

Book Review: Where She Went (If I Stay #2)

Where She Went (If I Stay #2)

By Gayle Forman

264 pages

Genres: Romance, Realistic fiction, Music

Rating: 4/5 stars

Book Summary: It’s the aftermath of Mia and Adam parting ways and from the get-go we can tell that things aren’t pretty. Mia left to start her career as a classical musician, and Adam is now a successful rockstar. And a rockstar in all ways: drinking and tabloid fodder.

But still, I find the need to remind myself of the temporariness of a day, to reassure myself that I got through yesterday, I’ll get through today.”                   – Adam, pg 3

Sarah: My initial reaction to this book was : Wait, What? I was so ready to read a happy romance…

Faith: And then the characters were all like: Yay rainbows, ponies, and fun times!  Nah, it was more like:

my emotions gif

S: However, this time, the narrator was different.

F: Dun dun dunnn… it’s none other than – TEDDY. Ok I’m lying… and cruel. Sorry to break it to you but it was Adam. It was actually pretty interesting to see his point of view this time around but it was unexpectedly (personally) packed with emotions like an avalanche.

“‘Stay… with meee ‘cause you’re all I need’ sings Adam”

The Secret Life of a Book Blogger (or Two) Tag

We were tagged by Audrey at Forwards and Bookwards! Thanks ❤

1. How long have we been bloggers?

Sarah: Hehe… Personally, I’ve never blogged before. Ever.

So I’ve been blogging for three days now.

Faith: Yep I’ve book blogged for the same amount of time as Sarah… quite obviously I’d think 😛

2. At what point do we think we will stop?

I think.

Faith: What?! Sarah are you trying to bind me to a lifetime commitment without my approval? Um why don’t you just continue this whole thing by yourself right n- I’m kidding. I’d like to think that we’ll be doing this as long as we want to/at least able to which probably (hopefully) translates to never.

3. What is the best thing?

Sarah: About blogging? Getting to hang out with like minded people, as well as just putting your thoughts and feelings out there.

Faith: I just like to express my book obsessions & reflections through blogging and it’s cool how other people can understand your book struggles for things like waiting A MILLENNIUM for the next installment in a series. Meeting new book friends, I always find, is super great!!!
