Meme Mondays: The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis

We’re back! And you ask, “What’s the theme for Meme Mondays this week?” This Monday we’re bringing The Chronicles of Narnia right to your front door!

(The front door to your wardrobe, we mean.)

Narnia: Prince Caspian… and well all the other Narnia movies too 🙂

When you’re creeping on/hiding FROM someone you know when you coincidentally see them at the store.

Lucy the Valiant

Edmund the Just

Susan the Gentle

Peter the Magnificent

Aslan.

Innocent fun 🙂

And then there’s this super friendly lady.

Susan: the original Katniss.

The original Percy? Kinda, not really?

Edmund the Just. He JUST doesn’t want to wear it! But it ultimately comes down to girl’s coat or freeze to death? His pick.

It might’ve wrecked your style but it would look even more stupid if you were frozen in a sweater when there was a perfectly good coat for you to wear.

Yeah, but Edmund stop being such a sour face. Besides, Narnia air is different. Air inside a wardrobe is always a bit more… magical.

Actually, wachu talking about? I am Aslan. OK? OK.

Me when I’m interrupted while reading.

Well, I guess Susan’s not so left alone now.

#squadgoals ?

Going back home

This is friendship goals. I want to do this SO bad… here’s the sign up sheet. Who’s in? 😀

I first read The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe in around the third grade and I loved it. It was one of the first books that I’ve read with magic and I was amazed, intrigued, and generally mind blown by the prospect of a world behind the back panel of a wardrobe. What really saddened me was that some of the characters couldn’t revisit anymore when they were older but I guess it’s just as well because that’s usually how people get corrupt… just check out Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige. That’s pretty much what happened. To this day I still love The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe and have yet to finish the series (although I have the full series in one volume). I promise that I will though, one day!

That’s a wrap for this week! Thank you for checking this out, we hope you liked it. Perhaps you should check out your closet as well; make sure you inspect it for any magical land appearances and the presence of anyone from Monsters Inc.

As always if you’ve got any topic suggestions we would love to hear them!

I looove the series ever since I was young! And I think The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe is one of my favourite book to movie adaptations, it’s such a good movie, it’s fun for the kids but also stays true to the book.
